How it works

Quote to install in 7–14 days.

No staged handoffs to outside fabricators or third-party installers. Five steps, one team, one project manager from start to finish.

How does Stone City's process work?

Five sequential stages, all handled in-house: quote → slab selection → template → fabrication → install. Total time from accepted quote to finished install is 7–14 business days for most kitchen countertop projects. A single project manager owns the schedule end-to-end.
01

Quote

You share project details (room, layout, edge profile, timing). We give you a firm number — not a "starting from" — typically within 1 business day.

02

Slab selection

Walk the warehouse and pick the actual slab for your project. We tag it with your name so nobody else can buy that piece. Can't make it in person? We send slab-grade photos and you reserve remotely.

03

Template

Once cabinets are set, our templater visits your site with a digital laser template. Result: an exact-to-the-millimeter cut file the fabrication shop runs from.

04

Fabrication

Your slab moves from the warehouse floor to our fabrication shop. Cut, edged, polished, and dry-fit before it leaves the building. Typical turnaround: 5–7 business days from template to ready.

05

Install

Our install crew (Stone City employees, not subcontractors) sets the stone, seams, and seals it. Most kitchens install in a single day. We walk you through care and leave the room clean.

Process questions

Typical kitchen countertop projects ship in 7–14 business days from template to install. The first few days after quote are spent on slab selection (yours) and cabinet readiness (your contractor). Custom edging, large projects, and out-of-the-ordinary stones can add 1–2 weeks.
